DR. Lesley LOGUE
Memory, re-enactment and repair are key concerns in Dr. Logue's current practice and were the focus of my Professional Doctorate in Fine Art, which she completed in 2014. She has enjoyed some success exhibiting nationally and internationally in the last few years including a solo exhibition Wild Lament, which was shown at the Foyer Gallery, Aberdeen in 2012. Dr. Logue is also one of seven leading Scottish artists, working in print, selected for Reflective Histories: Contemporary Art Interventions at Traquair in 2012 and commissioned to make sculpture works, which were sited in the gardens of Traquair House. In 2013 she curated One Way or Another II at the Smart Gallery, Aberdeen. Other recent exhibitions include Process & Possibilities, which she curated for Edinburgh Printmakers and The Tempest, at the AVA gallery, University of East London, where she exhibited small paintings. Dr. Logue has over twenty years experience as an art educator, working across both Fine art and design practice and, currently, she teaches Art and Design at the University of East London on the undergraduate and Professional Doctorate programme.
